Community Allies > Become an Ally
Any Community Ally of the Fund must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and must meet the following criteria:
- It must serve non gay-focused causes
- It must have an employment nondiscrimination policy that includes sexual orientation
- It must openly recognize the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Dallas as the grant source
Bundling Allies are selected by the GLFD Board based on the following general criteria:
- Partnering with the entity must provide meaningful visibility.
- There needs to be sufficient interest in the organizations' programs/services by the GLFD membership.
- A GLFD Board member must agree to serve as a liaison with the entity.
- There can be no conflict with another existing bundling partner.
- The entity must provide recognition to the individual donor, in addition to recognizing GLFD for the gross amount of bundled donations.
